Bliain na Gaeilge 2018
Ógras Irish Challenge Competition
Get set for many wonderful proceedings, events, activities and movements as we celebrate Bliain na Gaeilge 2018.
Ógras will be taking part in the year's activities with a list of challenges to be completed by clubs within the space of a few months. The challenges are broken up into different categories and there will be a prize/awards ceremony on May 26th to reward the clubs that took part in the competition. Below is a picture of the Challenge list, and you can download a document listing all the challenges as well as their descriptions and rules, here.

BEO Parade for Bliain na Gaeilge
14 April 2018
As well as our Challenge Competition, Ógras will be attending and taking part in the BEO Parade on the 14th of April and we hope that lots of Ógras members and leaders will come along! There will be a parade, entertainment, music, speeches, a family day and more!
Ógras will meet at 12.30 at Parnell Square for the parade at 1, and then stay in Merrion Square until 3 for the day's activities and speeches from special guests and Uachtarán na hÉireann, Mícheál D Ó hUiginn. Ógras will be sending out banner-making kits to the clubs, and everyone is welcome to make a banner for the parade - even if they will not be at the event! There will be buses coming from different areas throughout the country, so contact your local Development Officer to book a space.
