Our Summer Camps go very well and the young people who attend enjoy themselves immensely. The camps present them with the opportunity to use the Irish they have in a playful and enjoyable environment, while picking up new words and phrases as they go. The camps build the young people’s self-confidence and use of the language - they gain personal, social and creative skills, relationship building skills, and a general understanding of society and community through fun, active participation in a safe environment. We are proud to always receive excellent feedback from the young people who attend our camps - and their parents! - and we are committed to improving the camps year on year.
We are very grateful to Foras na Gaeilge and to the Dept. of Children and Youth Affairs for supporting the camps through funding.
